Application/Project Engineer Intern

Job description

Application/Project Engineering Department is currently seeking an individual who can take on the role of Application/Project Engineer Intern to join our team. Application/Project Engineering Department performs a variety of engineering work in planning, design, testing and analysis of microprocessor-based control systems. We design custom control systems from customer specifications including physical design, power distribution, IO loop schematics, application control logic, GUIs and many other items. We also generate documentation for the systems including test procedures, user guides and other required documentation. After manufacturing completion, we perform testing at our local facility and installation commission at the customers facility. 

Under general supervision, an intern will perform a variety of engineering work in planning, design, testing and analysis of microprocessor-based control system.

Skills / Qualification
· Pursuing B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, or related Engineering subjects), and experience in project application engineer or in nuclear system experience is a plus.
· Ability to utilize advanced, analytical engineering hardware/software tools is a plus.
